Through the acquisition of remedix, we have expanded our range of EU pharmaceuticals with narcotics. Since 2016, remedix has been part of the axicorp Group and markets exclusively innovative EU narcotics in Germany from multi-national original manufacturers. We are therefore able to supply patent-protected original medicines more cheaply as parallel imports and re-imports, creating savings in the healthcare system.

EU narcotics are original branded medicines

Unlike copycat preparations (generics), EU narcotics are original products from medicines manufacturers who carry out their own research and whose medicines are often still under patent protection.

Products from remedix are therefore researched and innovative branded medicines. In Germany, narcotics are monitored by the Federal Narcotics Control Board (Bundesopiumstelle) within the BfArM (Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices).
